I guess it now gets Historic Status, or are they just too lazy to fix?
Its not often that we get to hear what it's like from a tourist traveling to the city (nor do we care MOST of the time,) but once in a while there is an outlook that has a pretty good take on the dos and don't s of taking public transportation in New York City.
The ironic thing is that I was listening to this podcast while traveling on the bus!
Read or listen to Get it Done Guy's "How to Use Public Transportation Efficiently."
Did he get it right or does he still have a lot to learn?
They are making things way too easy for commuters nowadays. Back in the day, if you didn't know where you were going, tough!
Bonus points if you know the former name of this station.
There comes a time in every NYC parents life when its time for the talk. Traveling alone on the subway and/or bus.
This literally landed on my lap as I was taking a bus one afternoon.
The mother said "...Your 10 now, you have to learn how to take the bus by yourself."
However, due to recent events, parents are more hesistant now than then ever been to let their child go alone to school or on the bus.
If you're a parent, what age would you let your child go alone to school?
Just in case folks still don't know how to behave when riding public transit.
Saw this on the 6 line yesterday. Everything old is new again.
Planning a weekend trip in the city. Take heed to weekend crowding.
